TDP chief N. Chandrababu Naidu CM will take the oath as the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh on Wednesday, marking his fourth term in office. The swearing-in ceremony will be graced by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, and other prominent leaders including Union Ministers J.P. Nadda and Bandi Sanjay Kumar.

In Naidu’s new cabinet, 17 out of 24 ministers are newcomers, with a diverse representation that includes three women, eight leaders from Backward Classes, two from Scheduled Castes, one from Scheduled Tribes, and one Muslim.
The swearing-in ceremony is scheduled for 11:27 am at Kesarapalli IT Park, located near Gannavaram Airport on the outskirts of Vijayawada.
On Tuesday, Naidu met with Andhra Pradesh Governor S. Abdul Nazeer at the Raj Bhavan in Vijayawada to formally stake his claim to form the government. He was accompanied by his party allies, Janasena Party chief Pawan Kalyan and BJP state president Daggubati Purandeswari.

According to the strength of the Andhra Pradesh Assembly (175 members), the cabinet can comprise up to 26 ministers, including the Chief Minister.

Several chief ministers including Bihar chief minister Nitish Kumar, Rajasthan chief minister Bhajan Lal Sharma, Uttarakhand chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, and Maharashtra chief minister Eknath Shinde – are likely to attend the event.
